Within my role at Kiwi Can Do, I connect whānau, hapū, iwi and the wider community to education, training and employment. I believe in “teach a man to fish” as opposed to “giving him a fish”. I strive to help people into sustainable employment by walking with them throughout their employment journey. My whakaaro is to work with them from the “womb” to the “tomb”.

I am a proud daughter, sister, aunty, mum and nanny. I pride myself on being able to represent my whānau, hapū, iwi and the Rangitikei Community as Councillor for the Māori Southern Ward – Tikeitia ki Tai. I am also an advocate for Whānau Ora! Mauri ora Whanau.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching the inside of my eyelids… can’t beat a good sleep!

I am the only Māori I know who can dive for kina, crayfish, bubus, but I DON’T eat them!
