Jack got in touch with Kiwi Can Do in 2020 and joined our Construction Trade training course, gaining his Site Safe Passport and important knowledge of the Construction industry.
The course structure and small working groups attracted Jack, as it helped him and his fellow trainees understand the concept of teamwork and that through collaboration, you can achieve anything. They were provided with useful insights on how the Construction industry works and what would be expected of them when going into that line of work. Our course helped Jack get back on track and taught him how to discipline himself.
After completing the Kiwi Can Do course, Jack started work as a labourer and worked himself up the ranks before stepping into Traffic Control with March Cato, soon realising that was where his passion was. Since starting with March Cato, Jack has gained his STMS tickets and now leads his own small team.
Jack is currently working on the Huia 1 Watermain Replacement project in Auckland.
